Organic Wheat Seeds, FOR SPROUTING
Organic Wheat Seeds, FOR SPROUTING
Wheat is one of the most widely grown and consumed grains worldwide. It is also highly valued as a microgreen, especially for its wealth of nutrients, including essential amino acids, vitamins (A, B, C, E, and K), and minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and potassium. A true superfood!
Organic wheat microgreens, botanically known as Triticum aestivum, are also called wheatgrass because they grow into long, tapered shoots resembling blades of grass. They are a delight for both the palate and the body, thanks to their fibrous texture, delicate flavor, and rich nutritional profile.
How can I grow it?
Growing organic wheat sprouts and microgreens is quick and easy, even at home.
First, we recommend soaking the seeds in cold water for 10–12 hours. Then place them in a tray and keep them covered for 4–6 days. This step is essential for maintaining proper humidity and ensuring the seeds germinate as evenly as possible.
After 4–6 days, move the first sprouts into sunlight. To grow excellent organic wheat microgreens, wait a total of 10–12 days, watering them daily.
How can I eat it?
Organic wheat microgreens are excellent when eaten raw. To make the most of their nutrients, we recommend adding them to salads or using them as an ingredient in juices and smoothies.
