I. Concept

1.2. Buyer – a legally capable natural or legal person who purchases goods in the online store www.biopapa.lt/ biopapa.lv/ biopapa.ee

1.3. Personal Data Processing Rules (hereinafter – the Rules) define the main principles of collection, processing, and storage of personal data followed by the Data Controller when processing the Buyer’s personal data.

II. General Provisions

2.1. This Privacy Policy defines the main principles and procedures for the collection, processing, and storage of personal data between the Data Controller and the Buyer.
2.2. The collection, processing, and storage of the Buyer’s personal data are governed by this Privacy Policy, the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania, and other legal acts.
2.3. By providing your personal data in the online store, you agree that the Data Controller will manage and process them for the purposes, means, and procedures set out in this Privacy Policy and legal acts.
2.4. When placing an order, the Buyer undertakes to provide complete and correct information about themselves. If the Buyer provides inaccurate or false data, the Data Controller has the right to cancel the Buyer’s registration and/or restrict access to the online store. If the Buyer’s data changes, the Buyer must update it immediately.
2.5. The Data Controller undertakes to sell goods only to individuals who are at least 16 years old. If the Buyer is under 16, purchases may only be made with parental or guardian consent.

III. Collection, Processing, and Storage of Personal Data

3.1. The Data Controller follows these main principles of personal data processing:
3.1.1. Personal data are collected for defined and lawful purposes.
3.1.2. Personal data are processed accurately and fairly.
3.1.3. Personal data are kept up to date.
3.1.4. Personal data are stored no longer than required by the purposes of processing.
3.1.5. Personal data are processed only by employees authorized to do so.
3.1.6. All information about processed personal data is confidential.

3.2. The Buyer agrees that their personal data will be processed in accordance with these Rules.
3.2.1. The Buyer has the right to access their personal data, to know what data are processed, to whom they were disclosed during the last 1 year, to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, and to request deletion or restriction of processing.

The Data Controller undertakes to respond within 1–5 business days. If necessary, the Data Controller may request proof of identity.
3.3. The Data Controller respects each Buyer’s right to privacy. Personal data (name, surname, address, phone number, email, and other information provided during ordering) are collected and processed for the purpose of fulfilling orders and contractual obligations.
The Buyer may consent or refuse the use of their personal data for direct marketing purposes by selecting the appropriate option.
When sending newsletters, the Data Controller provides the possibility to unsubscribe at any time (via the “unsubscribe” link).

IV. Transfer of Personal Data to Third Parties

4.1. The Data Controller does not disclose the Buyer’s personal data to third parties, except for partners providing delivery or other services related to order fulfillment, or when required by law.

V. Registration Rules

5.1. During registration, the Buyer must provide accurate and complete data. If inaccurate or misleading data are provided, the Data Controller has the right to cancel registration or restrict access to the online store.
5.2. The Buyer has the right to update their registration data at any time.

VI. Amendment of the Rules
6.1. The Data Controller has the right to amend the Rules by publishing them on www.biopapa.lt
6.2. Amendments come into force from the date of publication.
6.3. If the Buyer does not agree with the amendments, they have the right to refuse them in writing.
6.4. Continued use of the services is considered acceptance of the updated Rules.

VII. Provision of Information

7.1. All notices related to personal data shall be submitted by email to sales@biopapa.lt
7.2. The response shall be provided in the same form in which the notice was received.
