The organic soothing skin applicator “Birch Kisses” may help soothe skin irritation caused by insect bites and stings, contact with stinging nettles and other similar causes.

The organic soothing skin applicator “Birch Kisses” is recommended for use after insect bites and stings and after contact with stinging nettles.

The blend contains organic birch leaf and bud extract, organic pine essential oil and peppermint essential oil.

Birch leaf and bud extract is rich in tannins, essential oils, saponins, minerals and phenolic compounds. The balanced combination of plant-derived active ingredients works synergistically to complement their properties and help soothe skin irritation. The active compounds in birch extract and essential oils soothe and cool the irritated area and help reduce stinging sensations. Pine essential oil has antiseptic properties and conditions the skin, while menthol naturally present in peppermint oil provides cooling, stimulating, warming and refreshing effects. This apparent paradox is caused by increased blood circulation in response to the cooling effect of menthol after the blend is applied to the skin.

Directions for use: Shake before use. Using the brush applicator, apply to areas affected by insect bites or stings, stinging nettles or other skin irritation and allow to dry. A brownish protective film will form, which can be easily washed off with water.
