Description

Organic rosehip powder
From its delicate petals to its prickly thorns, wild roses are a symbol of beauty and health. They belong to the genus Rosa in the family Rosaceae. Rose fruits, thorny berries are usually red-orange in colour. Unlike rose blossoms, which bloom in spring and summer, thorns usually appear in early or mid-autumn.
Nutrient-rich thorns have attracted attention for their role in health and beauty. This fruit is one of the most concentrated sources of vitamin C.
The vitamins, minerals, organic compounds and other essential nutrients in rosehips are very powerful!
Various acids in rosehips, including pectin, are known to stimulate urination.
During the Second World War, the British government used harvested rosehips to make rosehip syrup as a source of vitamin C to replace the citrus fruits that were not available. Rosehips have deep roots in the history of traditional medicine.

Rosehips have a spicy taste. They can be used to make teas, jellies, jams, soups or oils. It can also be added to smoothies, herbal syrups and body care products.

These organic rose hips are dried and ground together with the seeds.
