Description

Organic Hair Colour Espresso
A distinctive espresso brown shade that adds texture and shine.
The kit includes a base and Espresso colour to ensure perfect coverage of grey hair in a two-step application process.
This natural hair colour blends in with your natural hair colour. As they are chemical-free, they do not lighten the hair. Recommended for use on brown and dark brown hair.

Benefits:
Natural result
Healthy and shiny hair
Protects and coats the hair fibres
Excellent coverage of grey hair
Biodegradable and vegan formula
Tip: If you have a small amount of grey hair and want a softer hazelnut shade, use the one-step method: mix 50% pigmentation base and 50% colour. This gives a softer but still even result.

The colour results shown are indicative only and may vary depending on hair type and previous colouring.

The kit contains:
2 x 100g packs of vegetable powder (repair base and colour)
2 pairs of gloves made of biodegradable plastic
2 hair caps made of biodegradable plastic
1 user guide
One application for long hair or two applications for short hair
1 thermometer.

Instructions for use:
Wash your hair and towel dry.
Mix the vegetable powder with warm water until it forms a smooth paste.
Apply to your hair in batches, either all over your hair, or just at the roots if you are updos.
Leave on for 30 minutes.
Rinse your hair thoroughly until the water is clear.
Wait at least 48 hours before using shampoo to give the pigments time to react with the air and attach themselves to the hair. The final shade is visible within two days.

YOU WILL NEED:
Non-metallic container
250 ml of hot water (approx. 60 °C – like tea: neither too hot nor too cold, never boiling)
Paintbrush
Towel
Pair of gloves + corn starch caps (included in the kit)

IF YOU HAVE GREY HAIR:
The colour is applied in two stages (2 colourings): first the repair base (included in the kit), then the colour. This is an extra step, but it ensures optimum coverage of grey and light hair.

1 – RINSE AND DRY YOUR HAIR – Rinse your hair without using conditioner. Comb through and gently blow dry. Wear gloves.

2 – COMBINE PLANT POWDER WITH WARM WATER – Add the right amount of powder to a bowl: 1 bag for long hair, ½ for medium-length hair, ¼ for short hair or updos. Gradually add the water and stir until you have a smooth, homogeneous paste. It should be neither too runny (drips when applied) nor too thick (difficult to spread on the hair).

3 – RUN – Cover your shoulders with a towel. Apply in sections from the roots to the ends, using a brush. Then distribute throughout the hair (unless you are only doing a root refresh). Massage to ensure the mixture is well absorbed.

4 – LET IT STAY – Put on the cap and keep it on for the time indicated.

5 – RINSE OUT WITH WATER – Put your gloves back on, take off your hat. Rinse thoroughly until the water is clear and gently dry your hair. Do not blow-dry at high temperatures.

Wait 48 hours before the next wash to allow the pigments to oxidise in the air. The colour takes two days to reach its final shade.

Have grey hair?
If your hair is silky white, grey or very light blonde and you’ve chosen a darker shade, vegetable dyes work in 2 STEPS. It’s an extra step, but it ensures perfect coverage of grey and light hair.

How does it work?
1 STEP 1 – Pre-pigmentation:
Shampoo your hair
Prepare the mixture
Apply the paste all over your hair
Leave it on for 1 hour
Rinse with clean water (do not shampoo)
STEP 2 – Colouring:
Prepare the colour mixture
Apply the paste
Hold for the specified time
Rinse with clean water
Apply conditioner
This process allows the colour to bond more deeply with the hair and gives a uniform, long-lasting result.
Wait at least 48 hours before shampooing to allow the pigments to react with the air and attach to the hair. The final shade is visible within two days.

Note: The colour results are indicative. The final shade may vary depending on hair type and previous colouring.

Colouring your hair with vegetable dyes can take time – why?
Natural plant pigments react slowly. They activate on contact with water and surround the hair cuticle, coating the surface of the hair. Unlike conventional chemical dyes, vegetable pigments do not damage or weaken the hair – on the contrary, they protect and strengthen it.

Your hair will thank you!
