Biopapa Mission:
We were founded to offer a wide range of health and environmentally friendly products for people who care about their healthy diet and a healthy environment and nature, free from unnecessary packaging/waste.
By learning on our own, we want to share knowledge about sustainable lifestyles, healthy food and build a community of like-minded people who share similar values, based on the principles of enriching cooperation and goodwill between all.
Biopapa is the first certified organic shop in Lithuania – a community based on sustainable lifestyle. We started our work to promote cleaner, healthier and more conscious living.*
To reduce environmental pollution from unnecessary and non-eco-friendly packaging, e-waste is a key part of the EU’s efforts to reduce packaging waste. We pack food bought in-store in paper bags, and invite customers visiting the physical store to bring their own containers – for which we apply a 5% charge. discount. For those who don’t have their own containers, we offer free reusable container solutions such as clean used jars or, when these solutions are not suitable, paper bags.
The shop offers only plant-based products. You will find a wide range of organic, uncooked and packaging-free products, snacks, environmentally friendly household products and works by local artists.
30%. We are committed to donating our profits to the Sengirė Foundation – www.sengiresfondas.lt – which works to preserve Lithuania’s forests – so when you buy our products, you will also be contributing to the preservation of our country’s forests.
We want to build friendly business relationships with government and business, so that we can effectively promote the idea of sustainability, which we believe we all share and care about.
