Genmai miso is made from organic soybeans and unpolished brown rice. It is prepared using traditional methods by Japanese experts. During this process, genmai miso is fermented for at least 12 months in large, 100-year-old cedar barrels. This gives the miso a deep, authentic and unrivalled flavour. Genmai miso is perfect for soups, sauces and pickles, as well as a convenient condiment for stews or wok dishes. Genmai miso has a medium-strength flavour.
Directions
Use 1 tablespoon – 200 ml miso soup. Can be used as a base for sauces, pickles or dressings.
